Contenuto/Trama

This report is a collection of papers illustrating the main results obtained during 2012 using the Computational Centre for Research on Complex Systems (CRESCO) facilities in the fields of material science, computational fluid dynamics, climate research, nuclear physics and biophysics.

ENEA Portici Research Centre, near Naples, is the location hosting the CRESCO infrastructure.

The computational services have been provided to more than one hundred users, supporting ENEA research and development activities in many relevant scientific and technological domains, and to academic and industrial communities.

The reports shows the variety of the applications of high performance computing, which has become an enabling technology for science and engineering.
